Powermaster mastertorque series are the ultimate in performance starters. These can be used as an excellent improvement over original starters. Available in high torque and ultra high torque, these have the power to spin over your high compression motors and are not effected by heat soak and feature a compact desgn for header clearance. Try these and you'll wonder how you ever lived with your stock starter. This starter features 180 ft/lbs of torque and is sufficient for street and high performance motors up to 12:1 compression. It features a 4.4:1 gear reduction, a machined aluminum adapter block, adjustable mounting block and is not effected by heat soak. The unit weighs in at 10.5 lbs and will clear most oil pans and headers. It fits the small block Ford 289/302/351w with 3 & 4 speed manual.
