Reproduction of the original seat platform designed for use with 1964-68 Ford Mustang coupe and Fastback models. Each seat platform is manufactured in stamped steel to original factory specifications featuring correct contours for an authentic appearance and fit. This is the large sheet metal base that the front seat frames attach to. Includes the transmission tunnel stamped into the 1 piece assembly. Each seat platform runs from the driver side floor pan over the transmission tunnel and onto the passenger side floor pan. Must be welded to the floor for installation. Comes in stamped steel construction with a Weld-Thru primer. Fits 1964-68 Mustang coupe, 1965-68 fastback models, and 1967-68 Cougar coupe models.
Applications:WELD-THRUTM: Instead of EDP coating, this product is finished in a special weld-through primer that eliminates corrosion between overlapped panels, promotes superior weld characteristics, and requires minimal pre-weld preparation.
