Instructions:
- Safety first: wear gloves and eye protection. Park on a level surface, set the parking brake.
- Disconnect the battery: remove the negative (–) cable first, then the positive (+) cable.

- Unbolt and remove the old tray and bracket. Apply penetrating oil to stubborn fasteners as needed.
- Clean the mounting area: remove rust, dirt, and paint flake with a wire brush or sanding tool and treat with rust inhibitor if desired.
- Position the new tray and bracket in place, aligning with the factory mounting points.

- Install the battery into the tray and secure with the hold-down bracket. Ensure the battery is seated and does not shift.
- Reconnect the battery cables: connect the positive (+) cable first, then the negative (–) cable. Check for proper clearances and secure routing of cables.
- Verify the tray and battery are securely mounted and test for any movement while driving. Recheck fasteners after initial road use.
