  • Durable steel construction with corrosion-resistant finish
  • Includes mounting bracket for secure, stable battery positioning
  • Direct-fit bolt-in design for easy installation using factory mounting points
  • Prevents battery movement and inner-fender damage during operation
  • Ideal for restorations or replacing rusted/warped original trays
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 2/5
  • Estimated time: 30–60 minutes
Suggested Tools:
  • Socket set and ratchet
  • Combination wrench set
  • Screwdrivers
  • Pliers
  • Penetrating oil (for rusted fasteners)
  • Wire brush or sanding tool (for surface prep)
  • Torque wrench (optional)
  • Jack and stands (optional for access)
Instructions:
  1. Safety first: wear gloves and eye protection. Park on a level surface, set the parking brake.
  2. Disconnect the battery: remove the negative (–) cable first, then the positive (+) cable.
  3. Remove the battery and any existing hold-down hardware to access the old tray.
  4. Unbolt and remove the old tray and bracket. Apply penetrating oil to stubborn fasteners as needed.
  5. Clean the mounting area: remove rust, dirt, and paint flake with a wire brush or sanding tool and treat with rust inhibitor if desired.
  6. Position the new tray and bracket in place, aligning with the factory mounting points.
  7. Install mounting fasteners loosely at first to ensure proper alignment, then tighten securely. Use a torque wrench if desired and tighten to appropriate chassis fastener specs.
  8. Install the battery into the tray and secure with the hold-down bracket. Ensure the battery is seated and does not shift.
  9. Reconnect the battery cables: connect the positive (+) cable first, then the negative (–) cable. Check for proper clearances and secure routing of cables.
  10. Verify the tray and battery are securely mounted and test for any movement while driving. Recheck fasteners after initial road use.
