  • Socket set or wrench (commonly 7/16" or 11mm)
  • Needle-nose pliers
  • Flashlight
Instructions:
  1. Open the door and remove any visible screws securing the interior door panel and armrest.
  2. Carefully pry off the door panel using a trim tool or flat-head screwdriver, then lift the panel away from the door to access the interior.
  3. Locate and disconnect the linkage rod or clip that connects the interior latch mechanism to the outer handle—use needle-nose pliers if needed.
  4. From the inside of the door, remove the bolts or nuts securing the outer handle to the door shell.
  5. Reach around the handle area and carefully pull the old handle out from the outside of the door.
  6. Insert the replacement handle from the exterior, align it to the factory holes, and secure it with the original bolts or nuts.
  7. Reconnect the linkage rod or clip to the new handle and verify it engages smoothly.
  8. Reinstall the interior door panel and any screws or trim pieces removed earlier.
  9. Test the handle operation several times (open/close and lock/unlock) to confirm secure fit and correct function.
